--Before the Tiger mascot--   

Before the tiger was used as the mascot other icons were used.  The 1934 yearbook was identifed as &quot;The Meriden High Pioneer&quot; with the logo displayed on the postors.

From 1939 thru 1947 the yearbook was called Treasured Echoes.   From 1948 - 1949 it was called &quot;Treasured Echo&quot;

In 1950 the &quot;Tiger&quot; mascot was born 

We are not sure when the first yearbook was produced.  If you know about or have a yearbook prior to 1934 please contact us so that we might preserve more high school history. </info1>
